The 2025 Baunti Tours Pairs Invitational
28 April to 1 May 2025
2025 will be the fifth year for the Baunti Tours Pairs Invitational. It is held in late April each year, a time when generally Norfolk has “greened up” and the golf course looks its sensationally green vivid best.
It is a unique event with players entering as a pair and playing 3 different types of games over the three days. While the main focus of the week is to have fun out on the course, there will still be strong competition with $7,000 worth of prizes on offer.
Day one – Tuesday is a 4 Ball Best Ball Stableford, Day two – Wednesday is an American Foursomes and Day three – Thursday is a 4 Ball Aggregate Stableford. Pairs are awarded points based on where they finish amongst the field on each day’s play (e.g. if there are 50 teams of 2 players then the team that wins will collect 25 points, the team that comes second will collect 24 points....24th will collect 2 points and the rest will collect 1 point). This unique point structure, along with the three different games, gives players of all different handicap levels a realistic chance of winning. The format also lends itself to having a high likelihood of been very close on the last day, which makes for some exciting golf.
The week starts on Monday with a welcome function, held at. There is finger food and a welcome drink included for entrants to the tournament in their entry fee.
The golf is held over the next three days with daily presentations held at Norfolk Island Golf Club on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Following the golf on Thursday, the daily and overall presentation dinner will be held at. A two-course dinner is included in the entry fee and a great night of laughs and new friends is guaranteed.
